Michael, Andy, and Jacob began the project that became Salt Fox in 2016, inspired by a decade-old list of self-improvement goals found in a ruined apartment. The building they practiced in was torn down and the group stalled until they were invited to perform at a digital music festival during the pandemic. Elizabeth Moen is a guitarist and singer-songwriter based in Chicago, IL. From her life to the studio, Elizabeth Moen carries with her a certain kind of street-smart wisdom: She knows when you’re on your bullshit and she is also highly sensitive to when her own actions fall short. This perceptive quality is a gift and a burden. The burden is that she is too smart, too tuned into reality to lie to herself and put on a facade that makes it easier to pass for ok. The gift is that instead of giving in, Moen channels life’s turmoil into a constant process of growth–as a songwriter, an arranger, and powerful lyricist.

Tim Dodd started Everyday Astronaut in 2014 as an art project on Instagram. A then-professional photographer, Tim took pictures of himself in a Russian high altitude flight suit as part of a viral photo series. In the making of that series, his love for spaceflight snowballed into an obsession.

Artist/producer Jim Swim blends alternative hip-hop, indie soul, and bedroom pop to craft warm and wavy songs that move head and heart. Iowa native Ryan Unash, aka SHIKIMO, first found a passion for electronic music in 2010, when he was introduced to the music of Basshunter. In 2011, with the aid of his musical background – including double bass and piano – he began producing his own music using FL Studio, starting with trance, and expanding over the years into a wide variety of genres before developing his own unique blend of chill synthwave.
